Over the past year, I’ve worked to strengthen LSU Online’s brand and marketing efforts by leading big creative projects, improving how our team operates, and taking on more leadership responsibilities. This has helped teams work better together and increased the reach and quality of our communications and creative.

As Creative Manager at LSU Online, I’ve been able to combine my strengths as a seasoned designer with my abilities as a strategic problem solver and collaborative partner. I approach every project with an understanding of both creative excellence and organizational goals, ensuring that our work not only looks exceptional but also moves the needle. I’m proactive in identifying obstacles, offering solutions, and bringing the right people together, which has allowed me to build strong cross-functional relationships and help the team operate more efficiently and cohesively. These skills and experiences make me a prime candidate for the Director of Content & Creative role.
Commercial Spots
I led the creative development and production of LSU Online’s brand commercial, helping shape the campaign from the first round of ideas all the way through the three-day shoot. I worked closely with our internal team and FatHappy to refine concepts, guide scripts, support casting and costuming, handle logistics, and keep the project on track and on brand. This commercial is a great example of how I bring creative thinking, collaboration, and clear direction together to make a vision real.

Brand Guide
Starting my current role as Creative Manager, the work to define the LSU Online brand was already in motion. My objective was to pick up the baton, bring clarity to the process, and guide it to the finish line. The Content & Creative team partnered with Marketing leadership to refine the brand direction, align on our identity, and secure buy-in from PLT. From there, I built a comprehensive, accessible Brand Guide that now anchors all of our visual and verbal communication. It reflects not only strong design instincts, but also my ability to problem-solve and create structure where it's needed most.

Event Branding
I’ve had the pleasure to partner with the Events and Outreach team to develop the branding and collateral for a range of LSU Online events. Each event had its own personality and goals, but I made sure the creative stayed cohesive and unmistakably on-brand. Since starting, the team has established a regular cadence of check-ins, allowing us to anticipate creative needs and stay ahead of each event. The result is a strong, consistent visual presence at in-person events and a smooth, proactive workflow that keeps the team ahead of the game.

Welcome to LSU Video
For the Welcome to LSU video, I led the creative execution from initial concept to final production. I took the lead in brainstorming ideas, vetting vendors, and guiding the script development with the content team to ensure it met our goals. I also communicated regularly with SSCs, the subject matter experts, to make sure we were providing accurate, useful information to students. This project highlights my ability to collaborate across teams, provide strategic creative guidance, and shepherd a project to completion while keeping it aligned with LSU Online’s brand and objectives.

Meta Ad Creative
The Content & Creative team identified an opportunity to improve collaboration and ad performance with the Digital team. I helped to establish a quarterly refresh process for Meta ads, incorporating stronger imagery, punchier content, and ensuring all creative aligned with our updated brand direction. After each quarter, we review ad performance to identify what resonated most and use those insights to guide future campaigns. This effort ensures more effective, data-informed creative.

Professional Development Catalog
For the Professional Development catalog, a key touchpoint for the CE team, I led the creative refresh to ensure the design was on-brand, visually appealing, and easy to digest. I collaborated closely with Marketing Managers throughout the printing bid process and helped streamline content, design, feedback, and approval workflows. These improvements have strengthened team relationships with the project, created a smoother process overall, and ensured a final product that is both impactful and effective.

Semester-Based Partner Marketing Kit
The C&C team collaborated with the PTR team to create a kit of deliverables for LSU Online’s partners, including a flyer, presentation slide, and social graphics. These materials give partners the tools to effectively share opportunities with employees and promote programs. This project highlights our focus on supporting internal teams, external partners, and (most importantly) the learner.
